Primary Goal
To create an app and responsive website that that has an easy user flow that will allow teenagers to sign up for first aid classes near them.
Problem to Solve:
Teenages need the ability to see which class is near them so they can easily book it. They also need the ability to view when the classes are getting full before it is too late to sign up.
Takeaways
The new app and website allows users to quickly and effectively book a first aid class near. The app also allows users to add previous certifications, renew an outdated one, and book classes before the fill up.
I could conduct another round of usability studies to make sure the paint points the users experienced have been addressed.
What I Learned
When designing the app and doing my competitive audit, I could not believe that there was no solid platform to save all the certifications as well as easily locate a class nearby and booking it in time before it is full.
Helping Hands
I created a brand new app and responsive website called “Helping Hands” to allow teenagers a way to locate first-aid classes near them and to be able easily sign up for them. The user is able to see if the class they want is filling up so they can determine when to sign up. They can also renew their certification on the app and store previous ones.
